Mike Willis Roofing is one of the few roofing companies that specializes in Roof Repairs.
As homeowners, most of us are looking to get our work done at the lowest possible price. The problem is we don't realize that it's not the bargain you were looking for. Contractors who work for the lowest amount of money usually give you the least time, labor, material, attention to detail and overall quality.
A roof repair is a major construction project. You want this job done correctly with attention paid to all the details for a leak and problem-free roof, or you will end up paying twice to get that leak fixed by someone else the second time. Mike Willis only uses well paid highly skilled labor plus quality control that knows what works and what doesn't on your roof. Men who are trained, paid well, supervised and checked will always do the right thing, take the time to do the job right and pay attention to the details. For your sake and ours, Mike Willis Roofing will always do the job properly.
We do the best we can to offer competitive prices, but because we have all the additional costs that are necessary to ensure that you don't have problems now and in the future, we are unlikely to be your lowest price. Mike Willis Roofing has invested in worker training, education, quality control, supervision and inspection departments. We concern ourselves with the correct and appropriate choice and application of materials for the conditions found at your home. We will not do anything at the expense of the integrity of the roof. We will not leave an incorrect condition in place just to be able to give you a lower price. Corners may have been cut when your house was built, to save money and maximize profits for the builder. We will not cut corners. We will do whatever can be done to correct poor and defective work wherever it is found, and it is in the best interest of our customers, and a trouble free roof.
Mike Willis Roofing has opted for the quality approach to its roofing business, rather than aiming to be the lowest bidder on each roof estimate. We are convinced that with the quality approach to our work, we will remain successful, because quality is what customers really want. The low price alternative results in enormous amounts of unhappy customers, high costs for repairs and go backs, substantial reputation damage, diminished referrals, and ultimately the crippling of ones business. It really is a no brainer. Quality workmanship is the win win option over low price for everyone.
We use two different application processes depending on the slope of the roof. If your low sloped section is completely flat, we would likely use a torch down process. First we fasten a base sheet to the deck that meets the requirements for the product we are applying. We then heat weld an APP 180 granulated surface one-ply system on top of the base sheet. This is good for a standard 12 year manufactures warranty. We can also offer a 20 year manufactures no-dollar limit warranty. That installation is base sheet, torch smooth APP 160, on top of that torch a APP 180 granulated one-ply system. Both are maintenance free roofs but this carries a 20-year manufactures warranty.
For a low sloped roof that is not a 2/12 pitch but not flat we would likely use the same roof as stated first only all would be all self-adhered, with no torch application. With any system we use, the metal detail is the same. The metal flashings will be nailed according to the specified codes and then primed with an asphalt primer to insure proper adhesion. The metal flashings will be sandwiched between two layers of the modified roofing.
